2066 Rampur Festival and Agriculture Fair Held

The Palpa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) organised ‘Rampur Festival and Agriculture Fair’ from 18-22 February 2010 in Rampur valley, which is located 16 kms from Tansen. The fair aimed to promote the district’s agriculture production and agro-business as well as the Rampur valley. This was the first time the chamber held a fair outside the district headquarters of Tansen.

The stalls displayed different agricultural products like ginger, coffee, fruits, vegetables as well as agricultural equipments, Palpali products and handicrafts etc. Providing a platform for buyer/seller meetings, the fair offered a good opportunity for farmers and business people to showcase their products and exchange business information. PCCI had also set up a stall informing on the services of the One Stop Shops that is being run by the chamber.

Based on its objectives of improving the framework conditions for socially inclusive economic growth in its programme districts, GIZ/INCLUDE partnered with the PCCI in the organisation of the five-day fair.
