Month-long Hive Carpentry Training kicked off in Kailali

A month-long hive carpentry training organised by Pragatishil Beekeeping Cooperative Ltd. and supported by GIZ/INCLUDE started in Masuria, Kailali on April 10, 2010. The training which is being facilitated by the Federation of Nepal Beekeepers (FNBK), is supported by a local resource person, a free bonded labour with good experience in beekeeping and carpentry. The training aims to enhance the skills and capabilities of beekeepers and encourages them to construct beehives locally. The training has 15 participants from Kailali and Surkhet districts.
