Public Private Dialogue (PPD) for economic development and peace-building

Component objective:

The objective of this component is that representatives of the political and administrative level, private sector and civil society will be able to work constructively on conflict-relevant economic themes in local and national levels.

Expected results:
  • Proposals that were put forward by the supported MSME associations are discussed in national policy dialogue.
  • Strategies and initiatives that were elaborated within the scope of Public Private Dialogue (PPD) at national and/or local level, with a view to eliminating obstacles and/or promoting development opportunities (in particular those of women), are implemented.
  • The policy dialogue initiated by the programme is working to the satisfaction of all those involved.
  • The number of private companies that are involved in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and peace-stabilising measures is increased.
